Today is my first time in the newest Pac-10 basketball venue. Matthew Knight Arena, which was built at the 12,541 seat arena built along Franklin Boulevard south of campus. The floor was designed by Halsey native and Central Linn High School graduate Tinker Hatfield. It is called  “Deep in the Woods” and has various colors of woods depicting what looks like a forest of Douglas fir trees.
